It’s Not the Road of Our Youth

I went up the lower road on Old Hill for the first time since November today. I don’t know why I didn’t take my camera but nothing caught my eye anyway. Just a lot of gasping and panting for air, don’t know who was making all that noise. When I got up to the Herford Collage I saw a bunch of the students loading up their cars, I guess they’re not staying for graduation.

I talked to the Battalion Chief yesterday and he said they’ll be moving in at the end of the year. Today their lockers showed up and have the road blocked, I would have thought it was a little early to install them but in the old days people were always bringing in the doors, cabinets and flooring and putting it in our way. I can’t remember how many pool tables I’ve had to work over.
